Medication Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Med Tech. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications, providing personal care, and assisting residents in maintaining their dignity and independence.
The ideal candidate will have six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting. CMA certification is a plus, but not required. You must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English. The ideal candidate will be caring, organized, and able to multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Administer and accurately record medication administration
- Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
- Manage supply of medications
- Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
- Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
- Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
- Assist in dining
Qualifications
- Six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting
- CMA certification is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Caring, organized, and able to multi-task
