Job Title: Mortuary Transfer Care Specialist

Foundation Partners Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mortuary Transfer Care Specialist to join our team at First Call Plus in Kent, WA.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to assist our Funeral Directors in the respectful and discreet removal of deceased individuals from various locations. As a Mortuary Transfer Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide comfort and support during difficult times.

Responsibilities:
  • Transfer and Transport: Safely transport deceased individuals to the funeral home or care center, ensuring their dignity is maintained at all times.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Complete all necessary documentation and adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain clean and well-functioning equipment and vehicles, ensuring you are always prepared for action.
  • Family Support: Provide empathetic support and assistance to grieving families, offering reassurance and comfort.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Funeral Director and other professionals to ensure seamless and efficient service transport.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License and Certification: Must be at least 21 years old, and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift and maneuver deceased individuals up to 200lbs, with dignity and respect.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
