About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of store appearance and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric Experience:
    • Provide proactive and personalized support to customers, ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience.
    • Utilize sales tools and product knowledge to promote sales and drive revenue growth.
    • Maintain awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Store Operations Commitment:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment, adhering to company guidelines and standards.
    • Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including scanning, investigating, and filling inventory lows and outs.
    • Support freight sorting and stocking processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of merchandise.
  • Print and Tech Expertise:
    • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge, including sales and service tools, to effectively assist customers.
    • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest products and technologies.
  • Sales Techniques:
    • Apply sales principles and techniques to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, supporting the company's loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required, but a passion for sales and customer service is essential.
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use technology for information and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
