At GENESYS Health Alliance, we are committed to delivering quality healthcare in correctional settings. We currently have an opening for a part-time Psych Nurse Practitioner position at Pamunkey Regional Jail in Hanover, Virginia.

About the Role

This role will involve working under the supervision of a physician and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site or telehealth clinics, documenting patient progress notes, adhering to established formularies, and consulting with other team members as needed.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the state of Virginia
  • 1 year of direct work experience, preferred
  • Active CPR certification
  • Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Collaborative Physician

The salary range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00 per hour, depending on experience.
