Job Summary:

The Cleaning Technician plays a vital role in supporting remediation efforts for client contents. Key responsibilities include packing, moving, and cleaning items, as well as deodorizing and storing them. This role requires the use of specialized equipment and cleaning agents under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment utilized in daily operations
  • Perform dry and wet cleaning tasks following established procedures
  • Assist in the manipulation of contents at client sites to facilitate remediation efforts
  • Manage inventory of client contents in accordance with company protocols
  • Wrap and package items securely to prevent damage during transport
  • Load and unload contents from vehicles accurately
  • Transport items to cleaning facilities for further processing
  • Comply with safety standards and regulations
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness
  • Adhere to company appearance standards and values

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction, restoration, moving, or remediation preferred
  • Ability to identify products and their usage with training
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with company policy
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of customer service principles

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting of items exceeding 100 lbs
  • Ability to access tight spaces

Working Conditions:

  • Daily operation of motor vehicles for extended periods
  • Climbing in and out of vehicles and stairs
  • Regular use of forklifts and hand tools
  • Engaging in various physical activities including walking, bending, and lifting

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
