Refrigeration Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at The Arcticom Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair multiple types of refrigeration systems, including self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers.
  • Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems and identify specifications required.
  • Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary.
  • Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work vans.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of prior HVAC/R experience.
  • Ability to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driving abstract as needed.
  • Universal EPA License and Electrical License are a plus.
