Job Summary

The Senior Customer Service & Logistics Export Specialist has primary responsibility for managing the relationship between the international customer and the Supply Chain with respect to their assigned geographies. This process begins with the placement of an order and continues to receipt of final payment for that order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as the primary contact between Tyson Foods Supply Chain and the assigned external customer(s) by geography, responsible for all aspects of the relationship including receipt of customer orders as well as prompt resolution of any issues which may arise throughout the order to cash cycle.
  • Works to strengthen Tyson Foods' relationship with international customers through effective communication of order status, product availability, substitute product options, and logistics processes.
  • Facilitates and supports the delivery of required documentation, inspections and letters of credit.
  • Establishes and maintains positive, effective relationships with key internal and external contacts.
  • Ensures product, documentation and country regulation adherence.
  • Utilizes SAP order management system to process customer orders and to monitor compliance of all assigned accounts.
  • Maintains knowledge of all internal Tyson Foods policies, procedures and software applications.
  • Maintains knowledge of external customer's organizational structure, procedures and all other pertinent information.
  • Identifies and implements creative solutions to resolve issues which negatively impact any aspect of the order-to-cash cycle, Tyson Foods relationship with its customers and/or accurate delivery of products to external customers.
Requirements
  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1- 3 years business experience.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office applications required; SAP skills preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong listening and communication skills with an ability to adapt to cultural and language differences.
  • Special Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, problem solver. Knowledge of international business and trade requirements. Knowledge of ingredient restrictions, shelf-life requirements, export documentation requirements and formats specific to region.
