Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lounge Bartender to join our team at Shaner Hotel Group. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

* Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
* Maintain stock and supplies, as well as the cleanliness of the lounge and equipment
* Ensure compliance with hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications for food and beverage safety and quality
* Respond to guest-related issues and handle them in a professional manner
* Communicate effectively with General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff

Requirements

* Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant/Food and Beverage field
* Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions
* Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers
* High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred
* ServSafe and/or food safety training a plus
* Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS)
* Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls
* Ability to accurately compute basic mathematical calculations
* Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
