Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and resolving concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Identify and shop customer orders in a timely fashion to ensure accuracy and freshness.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and register, performing all related checkout procedures, including bagging merchandise and placing items in customers' carts.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
• Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged for all items and proper funds are collected, including cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons.
• Maintain proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures, avoiding overages and/or shortages.
• Ensure smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with colleagues and superiors, and continuously improving job performance.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or responsibilities required:
• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• No prior experience required.
