Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:
QPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers in the field, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and providing training and technical support to customers and agents.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers in the field, troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Travel to customer locations to perform in-depth troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and interrelated problems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and agents to provide technical support and resolve issues.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers and agents on machine operation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Manage time and territory to provide timely and effective resolution of customers' equipment problems and concerns.
  • Coordinate boom inspections and welding repairs as needed for customers.
  • Market and support authorized service centers to customers for repair work and parts purchases.
  • Aid in evaluation and selection of potential service centers.
  • Prepare timely field service reports and file them on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 5+ years of technical experience.
  • Travel 75%+.
  • Associates or BS degree in Engineering, Heavy Equipment Technology, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Indepth knowledge of mobile hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Multilingual individual a plus (Spanish and/or German).
  • Concrete industry experience a plus.
