Responsibilities
  • Maintain plant facilities and buildings, perform ground maintenance
  • Inspect, locate, and diagnose mechanical defects on production equipment and facilities
  • Install and service a variety of equipment, including motors, pipelines, valves, and other types of stationary machinery
  • Use mechanic's tools, welders, plumbing tools, and machinist tools to fabricate, rebuild, strengthen, and maintain various parts and pieces of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing special structures and equipment as needed
  • Repair and replace pipes, valves, fittings, and other related equipment
  • Work in confined spaces, indoors, outdoors, and at elevated locations
  • Operate lift trucks, aerial lifts, and other hoisting and lifting equipment safely
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Stable work history
  • Pass background check and drug screen
