About the Role:

As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and documenting vascular ultrasound procedures in our Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Vascular Surgery and the Medical Director of the Vascular Surgery Vein Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-invasive peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Review patient charts and medical history to determine the appropriate examination.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams to promote appropriate use of laboratory services.
  • Maintain knowledge of vascular ultrasound technology and adhere to hospital infection control guidelines.
  • Work with medical and nursing staff to promote appropriate use of laboratory services.
Requirements:
  • RVT or RVT eligible certification.
  • BS in biological sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Certified in CPR.
  • Ability to work efficiently under stress and pressure.
