Position Summary
This role involves being a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care, utilizing knowledge, theory, and research to adapt to clinical changes. The Registered Nurse will:
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members while delivering safe and reliable care.
- Exhibit strong assessment skills and understand the impact of nursing interventions on patient outcomes.
- Accurately document the nursing process in the appropriate formats, planning and implementing patient care independently.
- Incorporate patient and family input into care planning while managing time efficiently and applying the AACN Synergy Model in practice.
- Evaluate and revise care policies based on evidence-based research.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a valid, active nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or have recently completed a re-entry nursing program. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification may be necessary in specific departments.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
The role involves physical demands such as lifting and carrying weights up to 75 lbs, frequent standing and walking, and occasional sitting. Environmental factors may include exposure to blood-borne pathogens, biohazardous waste, and other clinical risks.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position starts at $42.00, with potential increases based on experience and qualifications.
