BSA Compliance Analyst II

The BSA Compliance Analyst II plays a crucial role in upholding adherence to anti-money laundering standards and regulations by scrutinizing internal policies, procedures, and controls. Key responsibilities include:
  • Examine alerts produced by the AML system to assess if additional investigation is warranted.
  • Compile BSA Reviews for Business and Operations line Officers and Regional Managers, ensuring prompt resolution of alerts and offering recommendations for Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
  • Deliver AML guidance to Account Officers and other banking staff for accurate documentation and timely review clearance.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the Team Lead as necessary.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks to earnings or capital, providing insights to the Risk Management Committee.
Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Banking or Finance, along with completion of relevant banking institute courses.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in BSA or banking audit roles.

Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Visio, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
