Position Title: Cash Handling and Food Service Associate

Starting Pay: $10.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Cash Handling and Food Service Associate is responsible for performing cashiering and runner duties, which include processing transactions, verifying cash drawers, providing change, and preparing cash reports as necessary. This role may also involve general food service tasks, such as expediting food to cashiers while maintaining high sanitation standards in all service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Input all sales into the POS system to ensure correct record-keeping.
  • Handle cash transactions, including making change and processing various payment methods.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain responsibility for assigned cash funds and ensure compliance with cash handling standards.
  • Restock condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring cleanliness in service areas.
  • Adhere to company service standards and inventory control procedures.
  • Comply with all sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
