Position Overview
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will work under direct supervision to provide custodial and general facilities support.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including:
    • Cleaning restrooms
    • Vacuuming carpets
    • Mopping hard surface floors
    • Dusting furniture and fixtures
    • Spot cleaning walls, carpets, and furniture
    • Emptying and sanitizing trash receptacles
    • Cleaning drinking fountains and windows
    • Maintaining cleanliness in kitchens and outdoor areas
  • Assist with event setups, both indoors and outdoors, as required.
  • Support in moving items such as boxes and furniture.
  • Drive a golf cart between assigned areas when necessary.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including:
    • Unclogging toilets and drains
    • Changing light bulbs
    • Replacing batteries in fixtures

Candidate Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in custodial services is highly preferred.

Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, as well as the capacity to stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach for extended periods. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure thorough cleaning, especially around valuable collection items. Flexibility in work assignments and a cooperative attitude are essential.
