FSQA Quality Control Specialist at Aurora, IL Stock Yards

We are seeking a highly skilled FSQA Quality Control Technician to join our team at US Foods' Stock Yards facility in Aurora, IL.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct incoming raw material checks, including trailer inspection, box inspection, and product appearance and temperature verification.
- Perform outgoing finished product inspection, including reviewing filled orders for accuracy and inspecting box condition prior to shipping.
- Assist with inventory control and perform daily steak cutting quality checks.
- Conduct employees training when necessary and complete regular reports for statistical or operational analysis.
- Evaluate conditions of returned product for proper disposition.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in food production environment.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- HACCP Certified preferred.
The incumbent must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment (35°F- 45°F) and may require overtime with or without notice.
