Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ERSEA Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Bright Beginnings Inc. as a Homeless Family Engagement Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing outreach and recruitment strategies to identify and enroll homeless children and families in our programs.

About the Role:

The ERSEA Outreach Coordinator will work closely with our Education Director, Family Services Manager, and Home-Based Services Manager to develop and implement an annual recruitment plan. This includes conducting parent tours and orientations, participating in community meetings and events, and analyzing data to improve recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an annual recruitment plan to meet enrollment targets.
  • Conduct parent tours and orientations to promote our programs.
  • Participate in community meetings and events to engage with potential families.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and OSSE Regulations.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate degree in social work, family services, or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of case management experience required.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Amharic preferred but not required.
  • Strong public speaking and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work with diverse populations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
