Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of all facilities, tools, and equipment.

You will also be tasked with ensuring a safe and sanitary environment within the plant and its surrounding areas through preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be available for on-call duties as necessary.
  • Oversee the Maintenance Technician I team member.
  • Evaluate maintenance and repair issues with appropriate follow-up.
  • Conduct minor plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure production continuity.
  • Gain knowledge of the setup, operation, adjustments, and parameters of production machinery.
  • Foster open communication with machine operators, department supervisors, and management.
  • Restore production equipment to optimal operating standards and enhance the work order system.
  • Repair equipment during breakdowns to maintain production flow.
  • Perform painting and other necessary aesthetic repairs.
  • Assist with new installation projects as required.
  • Conduct walk-through inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Address any unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Prioritize safety and attend to aesthetic repairs when production allows.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training.

Preferred:
Experience operating forklifts.
Forklift certification.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $17.50.
