Position Overview:
As a Radiology Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the Imaging Services department by providing essential technical, patient care, and administrative support. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the scheduling of imaging procedures and assisting in the preparation and transportation of patients for radiographic examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Under the guidance of the Imaging Services Scheduling Manager, you will:
- Schedule imaging procedures efficiently using the scheduling systems (RIS and EPIC).
- Serve as a vital link between patients and clinical staff, ensuring seamless communication.
- Operate a multi-line phone system to provide outstanding customer service to both patients and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within the Imaging Department.
- Conduct patient screenings over the phone and manage front desk activities to facilitate patient flow.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in scheduling imaging exams or coordinating procedures in a multi-specialty environment.
- Training or certification in medical terminology.
- Strong customer service skills, with a keen attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Essential skills and knowledge necessary for effective job performance.
