About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PSR/Scheduler to join our team at Austin Surgeons PLLC. In this role, the team member will be responsible for scheduling appointments, entering patient demographic and financial information into a database, and collaborating with the business office to verify patient insurance. They will also communicate with patients regarding payment responsibilities and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be fluent in speaking, writing, and reading both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:
  1. Scheduling appointments and entering patient demographic and financial information into a database
  2. Collaborating with the business office to verify patient insurance
  3. Communicating with patients regarding payment responsibilities

Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Previous experience with insurance verification preferred
  • Experience using Practice Management / EMR systems

Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $21 per hour, with benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
