The University of Arkansas is seeking a highly skilled Public Transportation Specialist to join their team in Fayetteville. As a Bus Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a large passenger motor vehicle and transporting passengers to specific destinations within the general area.

This role requires performing prescribed pre/post-operational safety maintenance checks; accumulating and recording statistics for daily reports on fixed route service; and demonstrating excellent customer service skills. A valid driver's license and DOT medical examiners certificate are required, with reimbursement provided for CDL training.

A competitive salary of $35,360 - $43,680 per year, commensurate with education and experience, offers an attractive benefit package including health, dental, life, and disability insurance, tuition waivers, 12 official holidays, immediate leave accrual, and a choice of retirement programs.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, with Saturday as a mandatory work day, offering overtime opportunities.
