About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric ARNP to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing ongoing care for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients' progress, conduct daily rounds, and document all services provided in the medical record.
  • Ensure timely completion of all required documentation, including discharge summaries and reports to the court.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, workgroups, and committees as assigned.
  • Adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding safety, abuse reporting, and alternatives to seclusion and restraint.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Advanced degree in nursing qualifying as an ARNP.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Three (3) years of experience in clinical psychiatry.
  • Current licensure in compliance with State statute as an ARNP.
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred.
  • DEA registration.
