Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled DeltaV Senior Automation Engineer to join our team of engineering professionals in a permanent role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for DeltaV controllers, I/O, and system maintenance.
  • Oversee software change control processes for the DeltaV system.
  • Experience with PLCs, particularly Siemens and Allen Bradley, and the ability to perform loop checks.
  • Troubleshoot communication between PLC and DeltaV.
  • Perform patching for antivirus and ensure system security.
  • Setup remote access and workstations for efficient system management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address networking requirements and ensure system connectivity.
  • Maintain and update system documentation and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.
  • Participate in project execution and project coordination.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant automation life science manufacturing experience.
  • Proven experience as a DeltaV automation engineer or similar role.
  • Prior experience with pharmaceutical cGMP regulations and practices.
  • Strong system administration skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with DeltaV hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Solid understanding of network configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Availability for occasional overtime and off-hour support as required.
