Job Summary:

QPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in the Midwest. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain machinery, including setup and adjustment of processing stations
  • Verify proper operating settings and ensure air pressure is supplied
  • Recognize machine-based defects and implement adjustment/maintenance solutions
  • Load programs and adjust machinery for given material
  • Produce parts with acceptable glue lines and minimal glue residue
  • Power down machinery in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
  • Perform quality control checks and verify correct quality and machining requirements
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or at least three years of factory-related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand documents, including blueprints and instructional documents
  • Good communication skills and basic math skills
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds
