Position Summary:
- We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to become part of our esteemed Level One Medical ICU team.
- This role involves coordinating nursing care for critically ill patients, including those who are post-operative, on ventilators, recovering from cardiac arrest, post-heart catheterization, and those requiring hemodynamic stabilization.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
- A valid nursing license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify health concerns, develop care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
- Perform detailed clinical evaluations, prioritize the needs of patients and their families, and create, implement, and assess care strategies.
- Modify care plans to achieve desired health outcomes, while fostering professional relationships and managing patient discomfort.
- Educate patients, families, and community members to empower them with knowledge for informed healthcare decisions.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an ICU RN is required.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is essential.
