Thompson Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing assessment and rapid identification of changes in patient condition
Participate in crisis intervention and management
Provide ongoing patient and family education
Facilitate and arrange for appropriate discharge plans
Support the Emergency Department and nursing professionals by participating in department meetings and serving on hospital committees
Requirements
Valid NYS Nursing Licensure
Minimum 1-year med/surg experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Qualifications
ACLS/BLS certification
TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred
Prior ED or Critical Care experience
Basic Coronary Care Course within 8 months of employment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to function as a member of a team
