Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our team at Art & Jake's Sports Bar. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their food orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the expo line, organization of order tickets, and communicate effectively with the back-of-house team.
  • Be responsible for the initial expediting of carryout orders, ensuring that they are prepared and ready for pickup in a timely manner.
  • Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus, including carryout and catering menus, to effectively assist customers with their orders.
  • Assist all servers, bartenders, and managers with the carrying of plates and other items, providing exceptional support to the front-of-house team.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and other items, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new menu items and procedures.
