We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Director to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Savannah Midtown. As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for leading the housekeeping team and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a clean and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed
  • Adhere to the department budget, oversee inventory, and order cleaning supplies
  • Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hospitality or guest services experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position
  • The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills
  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED
  • Well-versed in environmental services (EVS) including sanitation protocol and procedures, and how to use cleaning supplies and equipment
