We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology IV Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in the preparation and delivery of medications to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and compound medications in accordance with USP 797 and 800 guidelines
  • Handle hazardous drugs and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform quality assurance monitoring and comply with regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe medication delivery
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program
  • 1-2 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Current IL licensure as a Pharmacy Tech
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification validated by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT validated by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
