Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to laboratory equipment, test outcomes, specimens, and workflow.
- Engage in team projects or special assignments as needed.
- Provide instruction to Clinical Laboratory Science students and Pathology residents, as well as training for new staff members.
- Conduct quality control and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform routine and specialized testing procedures, including chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological tests, while monitoring reactions and documenting results.
- Prepare specimens and reagents as necessary.
- Communicate test results to healthcare professionals and collaborate regarding findings.
- Review test outcomes to ensure accuracy and timely correction of discrepancies.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Must be eligible to take the MT exam within 12 months of hire.
Licensure/Certification: Certification must be obtained within one year of eligibility.
Experience: No prior experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
