Job Title: Warehouse/Backup Box Truck Driver

At United Electric Supply Co. Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse/Backup Box Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center operation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Stock shelves and pull materials from warehouse shelves to fill orders, utilizing RF guns for efficient picking and packing.
  • Pack and ship materials in designated cartons, adhering to customer specifications and department procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring safe and secure transportation of materials.
  • Hang reels of wire in designated areas and cut wire to customer specifications for counter, will call, and other sales orders.
  • Assist customers with pipe purchases and communicate with the sales department regarding material availability.
  • Post purchase orders and other related data into the computer system, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Work closely with internal departments to achieve our mission of delivering exceptional service to customers while maintaining high standards for courtesy, knowledge, and ethics.
  • Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies, prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of box-truck driving experience (CDL not required).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs several times a day, bend, twist, and climb.
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm schedule.
