Job Summary

United Electric Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse/Box Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our Warehouse team, you will safely and efficiently deliver materials to our United Electric locations and customers, creating exceptional care and professionalism on every delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Load trucks for daily deliveries, ensuring the material is correct.
  • Provide basic maintenance to the truck, reporting any malfunctions.
  • Keep mileage records and expenses encountered.
  • Observe all safety regulations.
  • Receive incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received, and inspect materials for obvious defects.
  • Stock shelves, ensuring materials are in their designated area, and pull materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders, back orders, inter-branch transfers, and will call orders.
  • Pack and ship materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
  • Receive and hang reels of wire in designated areas, cutting wire to customer specifications for counter, will call, and other specific sales orders.
  • Post purchase orders and other related data into the computer system.
  • Communicate with the sales department when material ordered is not available.
  • Complete an accident/incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 pm to 3:00 am.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs several times a day, bend, twist, and climb.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a physical exam and drug screen.
  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of Box-Truck driving experience (CDL is not required).
