Job Summary:
Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking experienced security professionals to join our team as Security Officers for Special Events. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients, guests, and attendees at various events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks to prevent unauthorized access.
- Manage crowds effectively, controlling entry and exit points, and ensuring a smooth flow of attendees.
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and attendees, adhering to access control procedures as directed.
- Maintain exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, prioritizing the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Make periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserving order and enforcing regulations and directives as necessary.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; security or related experience, or customer service knowledge with college-level education, can be substituted for work experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
