Position Title: Registered Dietitian

Position Overview:

The main objective of this role is to deliver comprehensive nutritional care that promotes the best health outcomes and nutritional well-being of residents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Must fulfill all licensing, certification, training, or credentialing requirements as mandated by the State.
  • Possess knowledge of or be willing to acquire understanding of Federal and State Regulations pertinent to the Dietary Department.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Ability to manage menus within budgetary constraints.
  • Capability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Dietary Department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the nutritional care provided to residents and document findings in the medical records.
  • Utilize the company formulary to suggest dietary interventions based on residents' health status.
  • Review modifications to the facility's menus to ensure nutritional adequacy.
  • Oversee menu management within the facility's budget.
  • Conduct monthly assessments and documentation for residents experiencing weight loss, receiving enteral nutrition, wound care, and others at elevated risk.
  • Support the Dietary Manager in creating, executing, and evaluating educational programs for dietary and nursing staff.
