Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial patient histories and perform physical examinations to assess patient needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering medications and diagnostic tests
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification in specialty area
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State and current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Collaborative practice agreement with designated protocols filed with NYS Department of Education or collaborative relationship attestation as per the Nurse Practitioner Modernization Act 2015
- Current BLS certification
