About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Maryland Stadium Authority. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvements to our buildings, fixtures, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including construction, preventative maintenance, and repairs to buildings, fixtures, and mechanical equipment.
  • Operate and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure adherence to safety and sanitary regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working with vendors and contractors to complete facility projects and operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Five years of experience in the maintenance trades, with at least three years in the trade of steam fitting, HVAC, or HVAC-R.
  • Ability to work in areas of extreme heat or cold and to lift heavy objects, such as furniture or equipment.
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license and ability to acquire forklift license.
