Key Responsibilities
We are currently interviewing for the role of Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse.

The Radiology Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering safe and effective patient care through the nursing process. This role involves providing direct patient care within the established scope of practice.

The Radiology Nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of nursing care and service excellence throughout the continuum of care.

The Radiology Registered Nurse supports the Radiologist by assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, maintaining equipment and inventory, and ensuring the readiness of procedure rooms and equipment.

Responsibilities also include adherence to regulations, standards, and hospital policies, as well as participation in performance improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and in-service training.

Additionally, the nurse acts as a resource for other personnel as needed.


Work Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Day Shift
- No Weekends
- No Holidays

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Conscious Sedation certification required
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology is essential
- Experience in IR, ER, Critical Care, or Cardiac nursing is preferred
- Compact or Alabama state Registered Nurse License is mandatory
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required

Education and Experience Requirements
- Valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current status
- Current ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire and maintenance of current status
- Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) is preferred
- One year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience is preferred
- Ventilator Management experience is a plus
- Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days of hire and maintenance of current status
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
