About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at HCA Florida Capital Hospital. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those requiring life-sustaining therapies and interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
- 1+ year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care environment, preferably in Critical Care or ICU.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; CCRN certification a plus.
