Job Summary:

UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor is seeking a skilled Supervisor of Behavioral Health Therapy to lead a small team in providing evidence-based treatment to individuals experiencing the initial onset of psychosis symptoms.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and refer to other levels of care as necessary
  • Provide staff in-service training and participate in system-wide training initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to complete annual training needs assessments
  • Direct and assign daily work of behavioral health therapists
  • Provide oversight and conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and participate in treatment team meetings
  • Maintain daily records of clinical productivity
  • Provide operational support and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Five years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions
  • Two years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience
  • Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT)
