Position Overview:
As an Onsite Emergency Response Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of employees in a fast-paced industrial environment. Your expertise will be essential in providing immediate medical assistance and promoting a culture of wellness within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and respond to medical emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
  • Document and communicate medical incidents following company guidelines.
  • Assist with various calls and prepare incident reports as necessary.
  • Inspect and maintain emergency medical services (EMS) equipment, addressing any deficiencies.
  • Manage medical supply inventory to ensure readiness and availability.
  • Conduct regular checks on site-wide medical equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Monitor safety conditions and report any concerns to the Environment, Health, & Safety (EH) team.
  • Provide follow-up care for injuries within your professional scope.
  • Conduct drug screenings and health surveillances as required.
  • Support medical clinic staff as needed and maintain secure medical records.

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities and may evolve based on organizational needs.


Qualifications:
  • Valid state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing, or the ability to obtain necessary licensure prior to employment.
  • Current CPR/AED certification or the capability to acquire it before starting the position.
  • Ability to remain active throughout the entire shift, including standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Strong professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
