Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our Phlebotomy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, processing and preparing them for testing, and maintaining accurate records. This is a PRN position with second-shift availability required.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood specimens from patients using proper technique and safety protocols
- Process and prepare specimens for testing, including labeling, sorting, and storing
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of specimen collection and processing
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable results
- High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of a structured phlebotomy training course and clinical rotation preferred
- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred; certification as a Phlebotomist by a nationally recognized agency/board may be required
- Basic computer skills and effective communication skills required
