Christus Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician - Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting research, and contributing to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide ambulatory and inpatient care for children with gastrointestinal disorders, including consultation services and performance of general GI procedures.
Participate in the supervision and education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology, including the Advanced Endoscopy fellowship program.
Conduct clinical research and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies for gastrointestinal diseases.
M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree or equivalent.
Completion of an ACGME-approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology or equivalent.
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine or eligible for same.
