Tax Professional I

We are seeking a skilled Tax Professional to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, and generating business growth.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax, and will be able to effectively communicate with clients in person, via phone, and in writing.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
Provide clients with IRS support
Mentor and support teammates
Requirements:
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
Experience completing individual returns
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Comfort working with virtual tools
Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
Must complete 10 hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
High school diploma / equivalent or higher
