We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our team at ColumbiaCare Services. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with mental health challenges to navigate complex systems and access community resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct housing searches and access community resources to support individuals in maintaining their apartments.
  • Utilize strategic self-disclosure of lived experience to build connections with individuals and normalize mental health challenges.
  • Work with individuals to overcome barriers to obtaining housing and provide support in maintaining their apartments.
Requirements
  • Personal experience with mental health challenges.
  • Certified and Registered as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of $26.00 per hour, DOE/Credentials.
  • An additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
