Desktop Performance Applications Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, optimization, and management of desktop, laptop, and virtual image performance.
  • Provide third-level support for escalated end-user technical issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and tune desktop operating systems for optimal performance.
  • Manage and support endpoints using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and Endpoint Analytics.
  • Utilize the Nexthink Experience platform for endpoint performance management and analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, Windows 10/11, and network connectivity.
  • Support VDI/Azure and M365 environments.
  • Leverage database experience to improve system performance and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with desktop operating system performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (Intune, Endpoint Analytics), M365, and Nexthink Experience (or similar) platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10/11, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with VDI/Azure environments and database systems.
  • Mac OS support experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
