Artificial Intelligence Developer

Merits Health Products is seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Developer to join our IT Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and training artificial intelligence tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and software development. You will design and program AI systems, test machine learning tools, and resolve issues with algorithms and data to ensure system functionality.
This is a full-time position based out of our Fort Myers, FL, Corporate HQ. The salary will be based on knowledge, skills, education, experience, and abilities. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional evening and/or weekend work as needed.

Key Responsibilities- Design and develop AI systems to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Test and evaluate machine learning tools to ensure system functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish AI processes and goals.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of AI systems.
- Manage data and project infrastructure to support AI development.
- Stay up-to-date with product, regulatory, and industry standards and trends.
- At least 3 years of experience in machine learning and data analysis.
- Experience with MLOps tools such as Mlflow or similar.
- Experience with Docker for reproducible and scalable environments.
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning models and large language models.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role; or an equivalent combination of education, training, professional certification(s), and/or related experience with progressive responsibilities in a relatable role.
