Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, evaluation, and modification of the care/treatment plan based on mutual goals with patient and caregiver.
• Facilitate patient access to appropriate interdisciplinary care providers as well as diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Serve as a point of contact, advocate, and informational resource for patient, caregiver, providers, and other team members in the oncology setting.
• Provide education to nursing and ancillary staff members.
• Serves as designated quality lead for nursing unit.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school's LPN program and four (4) years of nursing experience, including two (2) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting.
• Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
