About the Role

WNDR is seeking a highly skilled and visionary individual to lead our scenic set design team. As the Head of Scenic Set Design, you will be responsible for maintaining high experiential and aesthetic standards throughout the company. You will contribute actively to the ideation, story development, planning, design, and execution of permanent and temporary exhibits, as well as guest experiences that result.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the scenic set design team to create immersive and engaging experiences
  • Develop and maintain high-quality designs that meet the company's standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on strategic goals and leverage insights to drive visitor engagement and satisfaction
  • Manage project costs and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Oversee the entire exhibit lifecycle, from ideation to installation, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Proven creative leadership in a scenic design role, ideally within a theater company, museum, or interactive art environment
  • Strong understanding of business operations, including budget management and financial forecasting
  • Exceptional skill in storytelling, design thinking, and creating cohesive, immersive experiences that engage and inspire
  • Ability to think strategically and execute meticulously, with a passion for pushing the envelope in creating innovative, interactive experiences
