Pediatric Speech Therapist PRN Outpatient Position

About the Role:

Lutheran Hospital's rehabilitation team is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our PRN team in the Outpatient Rehab Unit. As a PRN SLP, you will provide age-appropriate services to child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including assessment, direct treatment, and supervision of treatment delivered by a student SLP.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with a variety of diagnostic groups, including neurological disorders, dysphagia, and voice disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs.
  • Supervise and direct a Rehabilitation Technician as required.
  • Participate in family and team conferences to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document services according to hospital and departmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • Successful completion of National Examination endorsed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in SLP, CCC-SLP, or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year, CFY, and eligibility for Indiana State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Proof of valid license from Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) eligibility for registration with IPLA.
  • Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
